One of a series of paintings developed from a session of night-photography. The figure is partially borrowed from Arshile Gorky's painting The Artist and His Mother.Ready to hang - no frame required.

My work contemplates fundamental things such as our basic need to provide for ourselves; our desire for home, belonging, and connection; and our being a small temporary part of the natural world’s continuum.
