With broad & dramatic color, the paintings of artist Rhona LK Schonwald , are a magnificent & joyous celebration of life. The juxtaposition of colors are metaphors for relationships, both human & energetic. Colors or shapes may come together in harmony or juxtapose each other, but the composition as a whole is the conundrum of what/how to focus on the positive & eliminate the negative. Obviously, this applies to Life as well. .Abstract art frequently requires confidence to allow vulnerability to one's emotions, to experience the piece rather than the comfort of recognizing a specific subject matter.

The famed French author, Marcel Proust stated that "The real voyage of discovery comes in not seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes".

With that in mind, my paintings are designed to be turned multiple ways.
