About

"My work challenges the boundary between control and uncertainty. The grounding I feel
through my work is an expression of the space that exists between these two phenomena. I
mix my color and pour my paint, unsure of the outcome. I pick up the panel and start to
dance with the movement of the paint as it slides from one side to the next. As the layers of
color accumulate on each painting, the opportunity to manipulate the space between control
and uncertainty diminishes.”
