At the time of this painting’s making I was working on a lot of paperworks using collage and drawn elements resourced from material like the photographs of Eadweard Muybridge. The painting Q and R illustrates both of these ingredients in a grand graceful way. Painted in 1992 the painting suffers a little water damage from its storage over these so many years, not so much to diminish its otherwise excellent condition.
