About

Remote View – Who is looking and whom or what? Is the man in the background looking at the woman who is in profile or is he looking at the viewer? And what of the viewer? Do they lust for the woman or do they fancy the man in background. What is that woman in profile looking at anyway? Is it another other, or is it a thing? And what exactly is the what at the end of her sunlit gaze?

"My painting, Remote View, is about our relationship with others and all that is in this universe we exist in. It is about a moment of consciousness no matter our perspective. It’s about our place in time/space, and all that seems to be trivialized by the painting itself".
