About

The term "sublimation" means for a solid to transform into a vapor. This, in conjunction with my exploration of the Sublime, as a theme in art (and life) created some wordplay which is descriptive of what is being witnessed. Powdered charcoal is used in conjunction with oil paint to create a dramatic scene that involves movement, change, and transformation.
